Jungle Mice emerged in 1986 as a 3-piece.

• Simon Ward- Guitar, Vocals
• Howard James - Bass, vocals

After several line-up reshuffles and changes in musical direction, the 3-piece line-up embraced a Rockabilly, PsychoPunkabilly, (Junglebilly) style.

With the individual tastes and styles of each member, ranging from jazz to rock n roll, the band had finally developed a sound of its own. Gerry’s eclectic vocals and stand-up drumming, Simons’ innovative guitar and Howie’s’ driving bass.

Gigs included the Texas Rangers, Peking Man, Go-Betweens, Johnnies. and Hunters and Collectors.. With international supports that included The Commodores and Eurythmics.
